The Grandpa Tree
Grades PK-5
The Grandpa Tree is an elementary tale of the life cycle of a tree. This tale describes the life cycle from its beginning as a sapling to its demise on the forest floor, where it decomposes and becomes "a home for rabbits, and food for flowers." This program will include a guided pre- and post-activity in the classroom and a field trip to Beaver Meadow Audubon Center in North Java to learn through art, literature, and nature.
