Kevin McCarthy

Kevin McCarthy sang before he could talk, and began entertaining at the age of three. He started writing songs in middle school. Performing to over 1,000 friends and peers at his high school talent show made him realize he loved performing, as well.

With his brother Joe, McCarthy founded the band McCarthyizm. He left the group and began working as a full-time musician. He' s developed into one of the northeast's top singer-songwriters. He is a multiple Buffalo Music Award winner. The past four years, Kevin was played the Labatt Blue Outfitters Tour, opening for such acts as Dave Mason, Coldplay, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

McCarthy plays acoustic guitar and sings; his program features a state-of-the-art computer and Bose PA system, creating a full band sound. He is a role model for students, combining his ability to relate to and inspire young people with the key messages of his programs. Aside from being a musician, McCarthy has also worked as a high school coach and wellness educator.

While playing energy-driven live shows at festivals, colleges, companies, and top clubs in WNY, Kevin has also maintained a 10-year long weekly gig at Buffalo' s popular Mr. Goodbar. Recent touring shows included stops in Greenwich, CT, Toronto, The Bahamas, and Windmill Point, CA.
