String Dancers
String Dancers is a Buffalo based quartet formed in 2004, consisting of musicians who have performed for many years in various venues in the WNY area. The quartet was created for the purpose of promoting the recognition and appreciation of world cultures through exposure to the melodies and rhythms of ethnically based dance movements; and also to offer young people a chance to understand the construction, sounds and techniques of the stringed instruments one hears in a symphony orchestra.
