The Young Audiences WNY office has been a little brighter this spring and not just because of our freshly painted yellow walls! Our staff has enjoyed the help and charming personalities of two regular volunteers: Michelle Smith and Kwesi Victor.

A retired ESL teacher, Michelle Smith began assisting our office in January. Michelle’s background in education has proved invaluable to the staff as she helps us to prepare for our in-school residencies, programs and special events.

Kwesi, who started his internship with Young Audiences WNY in February, is currently a senior at Daemen College. Kwesi has been working with the staff to raise public awareness about Young Audiences' programming and to prepare for the many community events hosted by our office throughout the year.

As volunteers, Michelle and Kwesi help Young Audiences to bring arts programming to children throughout the eight counties of WNY. We can't thank them enough for all that they do!
