Residencies

A residency is a series of three or more days with an artist, allowing for high level, in-depth work. Residency content is often customized based on curriculum needs and each residency includes a planning meeting with the artist. Residencies can span weeks, months or an entire school year to meet your budget and curriculum needs.

• Explore West African rhythms, songs, and languages with Afro-Caribbean Music and Dance Residency
• Develop a Spanish language residency around Salsa dance and culture with The Soul of Salsa
• Immerse your school in an exploration of the culture of hip hop with Introduction to Hip-Hop & Breakdancing for Exercise and Nutrition
• Allow your students to document their successes and write out their life goals in a blog with Images & Writing for the Web
• Create a strong vision statement and explore Eastern culture through Sacred Art of Mandalas
• Explore memories through poetry and learn how to present your words in Stories Through the Microphone
