Longer-term experiences in the classroom or after school allow young people to make connections across art forms, and to learn in other disciplines. Support your youngest learners developing literacy skills with Phonics Program: Alphabet Awareness.  Explore New York State history with Journeys & Journals: Travel on the Erie Canal or Underground Railroad in Western New York.  Tie health and fitness to dance with Keep It Moving! Young people learn to successfully navigate challenges in their experience with Writing for Life. Connect visual art, music, yoga, and dance with A Rhythm Runs Through It.

Develop a Spanish language residency around Salsa dance and culture. Immerse your school in an exploration of the culture of hip hop. Allow your students to explore their successes and write out their life goals with blogs. Role-play and envision your future with improvisational theatre. Write songs about the world, the environment, or just about anything you might choose. Create a strong vision statement through a Mandala. Explore memories, and imagine living in the past through poetry.
