Major Programs

Young Audiences forms partnerships across the eight counties of western new york in order to build sustained programs.  Working with our partners - educators and artists, we create programs to serve the needs of the young people in each community.  Click through to learn more about our special projects and major programs.

  • Architecture + Education, a partnership with the American Institute of Architects Buffalo/ WNY Education Committee, and three Buffalo Public Schools
  • Arts for Life, after school partnerships with six Community Action Organization after school sites
  • First Fridays at the Albright Knox Art Gallery, offering programs for children and families every first friday of the month
  • Holland Elementary School Partnership, a full school arts integration collaboration
  • Holley Elementary School Partnership, a full school arts integration collaboration
  • Honors Music Cafe, an after school partnership with City Honors School with teaching artist, Nancy Baun
  • Journeys and Journals: Traveling on the Erie Canal - brings New York State history to life
  • Keep It Moving! offered in five after school programs in 2010-2011
  • Phonics Program: Alphabet Awareness, builds literacy skills for our youngest learners
  • Professional Development, a variety of offerings and partnerships
  • A Rhythm Runs Through It, an after school partnership with Heritage Centers After School program
  • Underground Railroad in Western New York - brings American history to life, featuring some of our region's most outstanding artists to your school
