Carla Marrazzo
Carla Marrazzo joined the staff in July 2011. Carla comes to Young Audiences with a vast array of experience ranging for corporate marketing and customer service to secondary and post-secondary education. Formerly an Education Specialist at Renaissance Campus, she has a strong knowledge base in diversified teaching and learning, and NYS learning standards and assessments. During her graduate work her research focused on Brain-based Learning using the foundations of Eric Jensen, and Cooperative Learning focusing on John Dewey. She has been a guest speaker presenting her research at several local area public school districts as well as teaching colleges. Carla holds a Master of Science in Secondary Education and is a NYS Certified Teacher. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Coalition of Art Providers for Children (CAPC), a Trustee of the Orchard Park Board of Education; an Advisory Committee member for Keeping Kids Safe, a parent awareness group against substance abuse; a member of Erie County Education Legislative Team; and is a founding member and past president for HOPE for Kids, a parents advocacy group.
