Call to ArtistsYoung Audiences of Western New York, Inc. is always interested in adding new artists and programs to our roster. We welcome artists working in all facets of the arts. For examples of the types of programs that we currently offer, please browse through the on-line catalog. Young Audiences of Western New York, Inc. is committed to providing arts programs representing artistic traditions from a wide range of cultures and ethnicities. We welcome and strongly encourage inquiries from artists working in underrepresented artistic and cultural traditions. We are expanding our multi-contact residency programming, and therefore are especially interested in artists who offer workshops. Many of our residencies focus on literacy programs, but most are inter- or multi-disciplinary, so artists working in all disciplines are encouraged to apply. We are happy to assist artists in designing educational programs based on their ideas and expertise. Audition procedures:Young Audiences of Western New York, Inc. has a set audition process. Interested artists receive our Audition Procedures Packet, which outlines the audition process. For a hard copy, please contact the office, or you can print a copy off of this site by visiting the links below. The packet consists of four pages. The Audition Process applies to all performance programs. Artists offering workshops should also read through the packet, but do not require a formal audition. A meeting with the Executive Director and Arts & Education Director at our office is scheduled.
