Edreys Wajed

Edreys Wajed' s first name can be translated to "one who writes or masters the pen." He lives his life according to that definition. Wajed, who also is known by the stage name Billy Drease Williams, embraced his creative spirit and diverse talents early in life as tools with which to achieve personal goals and success.

Wajed holds a B.S. in Graphic Design with a minor in Business, however, he continues to nurture his passion for music and fine arts. He was recently awarded "Best Hip Hop Act" by Artvoice and "Best Solo Act in WNY" by Buffalo Spree magazine.

Wajed was the first hip-hop act from Buffalo to be featured on YouTube; he was named a MySpace "New Artist" to watch, and was also featured in Billboard Magazine. He has toured nationally and internationally with his music and exhibited his artwork on a national level.

He proudly serves the community regularly, and mentors young students to empower, encourage and groom them for success. Edreys introduces a refreshing perspective on the importance of life skills, decision-making, entrepreneurial aspirations, health and higher education.
